New applications for Versant Power Match paused

Thu, Mar 21st, 2024

by DCP Staff

As of March 20, 2024, DCP is no longer processing new applications for Versant Power Match funding to help those with electricity disconnects. To date, we have provided $34,097 in assistance through Power Match, helping 126 households with avoiding electricity disconnection. This program is entirely donation-based, and while we are hopeful that new donations come in that will be matched by Versant Power, until that happens, DCP will not be able to help any additional households with Power Match funding. Last time we exhausted Versant Power Match funding, the program was paused for several months. New applications we receive for the Versant Power Match program from this date forward will be placed on a waitlist, pending receipt of additional funding.

DCP is still currently able to process applications for the Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) for those already approved for HEAP and with an application prior to March 1). Additionally, DCP continues to process Low-Income Assistance Program (credit towards electricity users) and Arrearage Management Program or AMP applications for those households with bills over $500.
