Climate Corps

Introduction

The Downeast Community Partners Climate Corps (CC), funded by Volunteer Maine, aims to educate and empower members of the community regarding home energy efficiency and preserving the environment through the following activities:

• Data collection and analysis
• Community interaction and integration, through town halls and DIY energy efficiency project presentations.
   

These presentations will consist of Climate Corps members compiling effective and interesting information to help members of the public engage in successful DIY installation afterwards.

The Climate Corps will also be acquiring data from national sources and in-home inspections to develop a national standard for data collection regarding energy efficiency.
